Hjelte Hoffner is a 19-year-old Dutch-Danish GT racing driver. The 2024 BMW M240 Racing Cup champion, he races the 2026 Porsche Carrera Cup Benelux with MDM Motorsport, on a clear path toward GT3 and endurance racing.

Full biography

Hjelte Hoffner (born 2006, Breda) is a Dutch-Danish racing driver competing in the Porsche Carrera Cup Benelux. He carries two flags , Dutch by birth and Danish by heritage. And one ambition: to reach the top of international GT and endurance racing.

His rise has been fast. From a background in simulator racing, Hjelte won the BMW M240 Racing Cup in 2024. In 2025 he earned a Porsche Scholarship and contested the Porsche Carrera Cup Italia as a rookie, alongside an endurance debut in the 24H Series at Mugello with touring-car veteran Tom Coronel. For 2026 he lines up in the Porsche Carrera Cup Benelux with MDM Motorsport, his team since 2022.

Racing is now a full-time occupation, built around testing, conditioning, simulator work and the race calendar. The destination of the journey is clear: GT3, international endurance racing and ultimately the World Endurance Championship's Hypercar class.
